Coordinated Care prioritizes youth wellness

Coordinated Care, a managed care organization, hosted the "Strong Youth Strong Communities" summit at Lumen Field, bringing together over 400 youth from across Washington. The summit featured notable Seahawks legends, including Walter Jones, who shared their personal experiences with mental health challenges. Mario Bailey, vice president of community engagement for the Seahawks, emphasized the partnership's goal of destigmatizing mental health discussions. Coordinated Care President Beth Johnson stated that mental and physical well-being are crucial for overall health. The event included breakout sessions that encouraged students to engage in meaningful conversations and create strategies for mental wellness.

Coordinated Care's programs, such as Choose Tomorrow and Mental Health First Aid, aim to support youth in crisis. The initiative aligns with Coordinated Care's mission to foster strong communities and empower youth. By collaborating with local organizations, Coordinated Care continues to address the pressing mental health needs of young people.
