Rainiers fall to Express in series finale

The Round Rock Express defeated the Tacoma Rainiers 7-4 in a dramatic walk-off win on June 29, 2025, concluding a six-game series with four victories. Dustin Harris was instrumental for Round Rock, hitting two home runs, including a game-winning shot in the ninth inning. After taking an early lead, Tacoma managed to go ahead 4-2, but Round Rock responded to tie the game twice. Jesse Hahn, who suffered the loss, allowed three runs in the ninth, marking the end of his 15-game streak without an earned run. Tacoma’s impressive 58-game extra-base hit streak also ended, having produced only five singles in the game.

This streak, which began on April 23, represented the second-longest in the Pacific Coast League this season. Leo Rivas extended his on-base streak to 13 games, contributing to Tacoma's offense. Both teams will look to improve their standings in their upcoming matches.
