Peers Rising to celebrate grand opening of new Ellensburg location

Peers Rising will celebrate the grand opening of its new location in Ellensburg on June 23 at 11 a. m. The nonprofit, formerly known as the Kittitas County Recovery Community Organization, offers peer-led recovery programs, mentoring, and youth initiatives. Since beginning operations in 2022, the organization has assisted hundreds of individuals in their recovery journeys. The new facility is situated at 116 West Third Avenue, Suite 100, enhancing local access to recovery resources.

This grand opening marks a significant milestone in the organization's efforts to combat substance abuse in the community. Peers Rising plans to expand its services to Yakima County, addressing a broader range of substance use issues. The organization's focus on peer-led initiatives underscores its commitment to fostering a supportive environment for recovery.
