One dead in Saturday morning homicide in Yakima

A 37-year-old man died from gunshot wounds in Yakima at approximately 1:06 a. m. on Saturday. Officers responded to calls about a gunshot victim at an apartment building on North 4th Street. They found the victim with gunshot wounds and immediately provided emergency lifesaving efforts, but he later died.

The Yakima Police Department has not released the victim's name, pending notification of next of kin.
