El Club Rotario de Medio Dia de Sunnyside confirma el Festival del Cinco de Mayo 2025
The City of Sunnyside has officially confirmed the dates for its annual Cinco de Mayo Festival, scheduled for May 2 to May 4, 2025, in the downtown area. The festival, organized by the Sunnyside Noon Rotary Club, is set to feature a variety of family-oriented activities, including a carnival with rides, a charro competition showcasing traditional horsemanship, a car show, a festive parade, and live music performances. This announcement followed a coordination meeting that included key representatives from the Rotary Club and city officials, highlighting the collaborative effort behind the event. City Administrator Mike Gonzalez praised the Rotary Club's dedication and hard work in bringing this beloved community tradition to life. The club will keep the public informed with weekly updates on event details, featured performers, and safety plans.
While vendor applications are closed, community members interested in volunteering or participating in the parade are encouraged to reach out. The event is supported by funding from the Local Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) and aims to foster community engagement through local sponsorships.
