Yakima Arts Commission seeks entries for new Windows Alive! display

The Yakima Arts Commission invites artists to apply for the Fall/Winter 2025 Windows Alive! project, with applications due by 5:00 pm on August 29. This initiative aims to invigorate empty storefronts by featuring local artists’ creations, with the displays set to begin on October 3. Artists residing in Yakima, Yakima County, and Central Washington are eligible to submit their work for consideration. Selected artists will receive a stipend of $250 for their displayed pieces.

All types of artwork are welcome, including paintings, drawings, and mixed media. Windows Alive! has been a platform for public art in downtown Yakima since its inception in 2013.
