St. Pete sets debris collection goal

St. Petersburg city officials have set an ambitious target to collect a massive amount of storm-related debris resulting from Hurricane Helene within a 90-day timeframe. Since the hurricane's impact, crews have cleared an impressive 47,000 cubic yards of debris, reflecting a robust municipal response. The operation is supported by 67 city trucks and 61 contracted haulers who are working tirelessly, seven days a week, to facilitate the cleanup. Hometown Recovery Haulers have played a crucial role, completing over 2,200 debris pickups in various neighborhoods.
