Mayor Brown announces curfew

Mayor Lisa Brown announced a curfew effective at 9:30 p. m. Wednesday for parts of Spokane, including Riverfront Park. The curfew applies to the area from Boone Ave to Spokane Falls Blvd and Howard St to Division St. Everyone must comply, with limited exceptions for law enforcement, emergency personnel, media, residents, and those attending or leaving the soccer game.

This measure seeks to enhance public safety amid escalating tensions related to recent events in the city. City Closures Planned for Juneteenth
