Suspect in Custody After Committing Multiple Armed Robberies

Spokane Police arrested Justin McDowell, 45, for a series of armed robberies, with the first occurring on November 2, 2025, at a marijuana retail store. An employee reported an unknown male wearing a Halloween mask and armed with a shotgun stole cash from the register. Investigators utilized video evidence to trace a suspect vehicle, leading to McDowell’s identification. On November 7, a second robbery at a gaming store, also involving a masked assailant, confirmed the pattern of crimes. Police located McDowell later that evening in the 2900 block of East Broad, where they seized evidence linking him to both robberies.

He now faces two counts of 1st Degree Robbery and is held on a $50,000 bond. The Spokane Police emphasized the importance of community cooperation in solving these crimes. This case highlights ongoing concerns regarding safety and crime in local neighborhoods.
