Officers arrived at 2nd and Wall shortly after midnight in response to reports of a loud noise. Initially believed to be a shooting, it was later confirmed that a lit firework exploded in a crowd, causing severe injuries to a bystander. The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. Investigators gathered security photos of the suspect vehicle during witness interviews and area canvassing.
