Firework Thrown From a Vehicle Causes Severe Injuries to Another

Spokane Police are investigating a firework incident that left a male victim with severe injuries. The event took place shortly after midnight on November 8, 2025, at the intersection of 2nd and Wall. Witnesses reported a loud bang, initially thought to be a gunshot, but it was confirmed to be an explosion caused by a firework thrown from a vehicle. The victim suffered injuries severe enough to require transport to Harborview Medical Center. Security photos of the suspect vehicle were obtained through witness interviews and area canvassing.
