Spokane Police arrested Justin McDowell, 45, in connection with two armed robberies that occurred in early November 2025. The first robbery took place on November 2 at a marijuana retail store, where an assailant wearing a Halloween mask threatened employees with a shotgun and stole cash. Following witness interviews and video evidence, investigators identified McDowell as a suspect. A second robbery occurred on November 7 at a gaming store, using similar tactics, prompting a swift police response. Officers arrested McDowell later that evening and seized evidence supporting the charges.

He faces two counts of 1st Degree Robbery and remains in custody on a $50,000 bond. Spokane Police are working with local law enforcement partners to ensure community safety. This case highlights ongoing concerns regarding violent crime in the area.
