Spokane Police arrested Justin McDowell, 45, for his alleged involvement in two armed robberies within a week. The first incident occurred on November 2, 2025, at a marijuana retail store on South Lewis Street, where an employee reported a man in a Halloween mask armed with a shotgun stealing cash. Investigators identified a suspect vehicle through video evidence, leading to further inquiries. On November 7, a second robbery happened at a gaming store, featuring a similar disguise and weapon, indicating a potential pattern. Officers located McDowell later that same day and seized evidence related to both robberies.

He has been charged with two counts of 1st Degree Robbery and is currently held on a $50,000 bond. The Spokane Police Department's collaboration with local tribes aided in the investigation. These incidents highlight ongoing concerns about crime in the area, prompting increased police vigilance.
