City Details Veterans Day Schedule

Spokane will not require payment for on-street parking meters and kiosks on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, although time limits remain in effect. Garbage, recycling, and yard waste collection will operate on a regular schedule, and the Waste to Energy Facility will be open for operations. Riverfront Park will offer complimentary Looff Carrousel rides for military members and their families on this holiday. The Spokane Public Library branches will be closed on Veterans Day, as will the Spokane Municipal Court and Community Justice Services.

Spokane 311 employees will be available to assist residents in person, by phone, or online. Residents can submit requests at www. spokane311. org at any time, ensuring access to city services. This arrangement allows for continued community support while honoring those who served.

The city's holiday schedule reflects an effort to balance public services with recognition of Veterans Day.
