Spokane, WALocal News

Spokane will suspend on-street parking fees on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, but all parking regulations, including time limits, will still apply. Garbage, recycling, and yard waste collection will proceed on a regular schedule, and the Waste to Energy Facility will remain open. Employees from the Development Services Center and Spokane 311 will assist residents with inquiries in person, by phone, or online. Riverfront Park will offer complimentary Looff Carrousel rides to military members, both active and retired, along with their families on this holiday.

Spokane Public Library branches will be closed, and the Spokane Municipal Court, along with Community Justice Services, will also close for the day.
