Spokane will suspend payment for on-street parking meters and kiosks on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, while maintaining time limit regulations. City services, including garbage, recycling, and food waste collection, will operate as usual on this holiday. Riverfront Park will provide complimentary Looff Carrousel rides to all military members and their families in honor of their service. Spokane Public Library branches, however, will close for the day, along with the Municipal Court and Community Justice Services.

Spokane 311 employees will be available for customer service inquiries in person, by phone, or online. Residents can access services through www. spokane311. org any time of day. The Waste to Energy Facility will also be open, ensuring waste management continues without disruption.

These arrangements reflect the city's commitment to honoring veterans while maintaining essential services for residents.
