Spokane will not require payment for on-street parking on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, while all parking regulations, including time limits, remain enforced. Garbage, recycling, and yard waste services will operate on their regular schedule, ensuring continued waste management for residents. Riverfront Park will offer free Looff Carrousel rides to military personnel and their families, recognizing their service. However, Spokane Public Library branches and the Municipal Court will be closed on this holiday.

Development Services Center employees will be available, and Spokane 311 will assist residents with inquiries either in-person, over the phone, or online. The public can access services at www. spokane311. org at any time. This year’s Veterans Day highlights the city’s commitment to honoring military members while maintaining essential city services.
