City Details Veterans Day Schedule
Spokane will suspend payment for on-street parking meters and kiosks on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, while maintaining all parking rules, including time limits. Garbage, recycling, and yard waste collection will follow the regular schedule, and the Waste to Energy Facility will operate as usual. Spokane 311 will provide customer service through in-person, phone, or online inquiries. Riverfront Park will offer complimentary Looff Carrousel rides for military members and their families to celebrate the holiday.
However, Spokane Public Library branches, the Municipal Court, and Community Justice Services will close for Veterans Day. This schedule reflects the city’s efforts to honor veterans while ensuring the continuity of essential services. The city encourages residents to take advantage of the free parking while adhering to time restrictions. The combination of free activities and operational services highlights Spokane's commitment to its community and those who have served.
