Tyrone L. Cliff, a 38-year-old former teacher, faces multiple felony charges for possessing child sexual abuse material after being arrested in Florida. The investigation started in August when the Spokane Police Department's ICAC unit received a CyberTip regarding the viewing of illicit material. Detectives quickly identified Cliff and discovered he had relocated to Florida, where he worked as a middle school teacher. Upon coordination with Florida law enforcement, multiple felony warrants were issued, leading to his arrest.

Cliff is currently in Hillsborough County Jail, awaiting extradition back to Washington State. This case underscores the importance of inter-agency collaboration in combating child exploitation. The Spokane Police Department, Tampa Police Department, and Florida Department of Law Enforcement worked together to ensure Cliff's apprehension. The investigation emphasizes ongoing efforts to protect children from sexual abuse and hold offenders accountable.
