SPD Asking for Help Identifying Suspects in an Arson

Spokane Police Department is investigating an arson incident that took place on August 3, 2025, in the 1600 block of East Mission Avenue, where multiple trees and lavender plants were damaged. The Spokane Fire Department responded to the fire, which was reported just before 2:00 PM. Authorities later learned that video footage captured three male suspects, believed to be juveniles, engaging in the act. Suspect descriptions include one in gray shorts and a dark t-shirt, another in Adidas-style pants and a yellow shirt, and a third in plaid shorts and a black top with red accents. All suspects appear to be young teenagers with short haircuts.

The police are asking for the public's help to identify the suspects to further their investigation. This incident highlights the ongoing issues of vandalism and property damage within the community.
