SPD Asking for Help Identifying Suspects in an Arson

Spokane Police Department (SPD) is seeking assistance from the public to identify three suspects involved in an arson that occurred on August 3, 2025, in the 1600 block of East Mission Ave. The fire, which was reported shortly before 2:00 PM, caused significant damage to apple trees, a cherry tree, and numerous lavender plants. Investigators later obtained video footage showing three possibly juvenile males setting the fire. The first suspect was described as wearing gray shorts and a dark t-shirt with “Shot call-er M” written in yellow. The second suspect wore Adidas-style pants with a yellow t-shirt featuring gray sleeves, while the third was seen in plaid shorts and a black top with red accents.

SPD urges anyone with information to contact Crime Check at 509. 456. 2233, referencing case 2025-20157743. This investigation highlights the importance of community involvement in addressing local crimes and protecting public property. The department aims to identify the suspects to hold them accountable for their actions, emphasizing the community's role in maintaining safety.
