Age of Elegance Reimagined Showcases Local Furnishers to Raise Funds for Historic Preservation of D.C. Corbin Mansion, September 6-20

The "Age of Elegance Reimagined" event at Spokane's Corbin Art Center will take place from September 6 to 20, 2025, showcasing local furnishings from businesses like The Tin Roof and Ennis Fine Furniture. Admission is priced at $10, with all proceeds directed towards the restoration of the mansion's front veranda and other maintenance needs. The D. C. Corbin House, designed by renowned architect Kirtland K.

Cutter, has been an art center for over five decades and provides affordable programs for all ages. Guided tours, led by interior designer Cindy Blue-Blanton, will be held on select dates throughout the event. In November, voters will decide on a Parks & Recreation levy that could allocate funds for the mansion's ongoing preservation. Discounted private group tours are offered at $8 per person for groups of six or more. Those interested in supporting the preservation efforts can donate via the Spokane Parks Foundation website.
