Construction on Rockwood Boulevard will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 2, affecting traffic and parking near Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center. This project includes pavement rehabilitation, intersection redesign, and utility upgrades, such as replacing outdated water main pipes and repairing sewer lines. Traffic will be condensed on Rockwood Blvd. , with no metered parking available on Rockwood Blvd.

or 9th Ave. Pedestrian detours may be necessary, but local access will remain intact. The city encourages drivers to slow down for safety and support local businesses during this necessary work.
