The suspect fled the scene, prompting the employee to contact 911 immediately. Officers flooded the area and, using the description from the initial caller, detained a possible suspect at Cedar and Broadway just eight minutes later. Jerry G.

Allen Jr. , 38, was arrested and charged with 1st Degree Robbery and 3rd Degree Theft, with the stolen items successfully recovered.
