Water System Project Will Impact Northwest Intersection

The total cost for this first phase is $3. 25 million, part of a larger initiative to improve water, sewer, stormwater, and traffic infrastructure in the area.
Traffic will be rerouted with temporary signals in place, and both northbound and southbound Assembly St. will experience closures. A noise variance permits work from 6 a. m. to 6 p.
m. Monday through Saturday to expedite the construction process. Future phases will include closures on N. Royal Dr. and W.
Lyons Ave. The city urges motorists to plan ahead and support local businesses during this necessary work. Current obstruction information can be found on the city’s construction webpage.
