SPD Tactical Team officers engaged in dialogue with protest organizers throughout the day, promoting safety while enabling the demonstration. , dispersal orders were given due to ongoing roadway obstructions, resulting in 11 arrests for failure to comply. One individual also faces charges for malicious mischief related to vandalism. Chief Kevin Hall reiterated the department's dedication to protecting the right to protest while ensuring safety for all. Spokane Pride Executive Director Matthew Danielson praised the collaboration between the organizers and SPD. Despite online claims, SPD confirmed that there was no curfew in place that night.
