North Bend Seeks Community Feedback to Shape Future of Biking Access and Safety

On May 28, North Bend Parks Commissioners and the Economic Development Commission launched a bike tour to discuss cycling improvements. The group explored ideas for making biking safer and more accessible for residents. The city has initiated the Bike North Bend survey to gather community input on the current cycling environment and potential enhancements. The survey is open until August 13, 2025, and residents can participate online or at City Hall. Associate Planner Caitlin Hepworth is available for inquiries regarding the survey and project.

The community's feedback will play a crucial role in guiding infrastructure and program decisions. This initiative aims to foster a safer cycling environment and enhance mobility options for all users. Residents are encouraged to take part, regardless of their cycling experience.
