SR 203 Closure June 14 Between Carnation and Duvall, Night Work Begins June 11 North of Duvall

On June 14, State Route 203/Carnation-Duvall Road Northeast will see a full closure from 6:30 a. m. to 4 p. m. for maintenance work conducted by the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The closure will impact the stretch between Fay Road in Carnation and Northeast 143rd Place in Duvall, prompting travelers to seek alternate routes. This maintenance is part of a broader effort to manage vegetation along the route, ensuring safety and accessibility for motorists. Prior to the full closure, crews performed nighttime landscaping work from June 11-13, which included lane reductions at the High Rock Road roundabout. Flaggers directed traffic during these nighttime hours from 7 p. m.

to 6 a. m. each night. Travelers can stay informed about real-time traffic conditions through the WSDOT mobile app and online travel map. These maintenance efforts reflect ongoing initiatives by WSDOT to enhance road safety and infrastructure in the region.
