On June 8th, over 700 people gathered for Snovalley Pride’s third annual Pride Picnic at Tolt Commons in Carnation. The event featured live music from four performers and a complimentary lunch, showcasing community support. Gregory Jamiel, the founder of Snovalley Pride, introduced an original children's book, ‘Uni’s Quest for Kindness’, which quickly sold out. Various local organizations hosted art booths, enhancing the event's inclusive atmosphere. Attendees engaged in hands-on activities such as creating rainbow crafts and enjoyed petting goats from Katsiki Goat Petting Zoo.

The picnic was supported by numerous partners, including the City of Carnation and community health organizations. Snovalley Pride plans to host more events, including an 80’s drag show and a movie night later this month. This celebration underscores the vibrant 2SLGBTQ+ community in the Snoqualmie Valley.
