Nighttime Closures and Temporary Signal Installation Coming to I-90SR 18 Interchange Area April 1418

Snoqualmie, WALocal News

Beginning Monday night, April 14, drivers around the I-90/SR 18 interchange south of Snoqualmie should anticipate a series of nighttime lane closures and traffic modifications. The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will implement these changes as part of the construction of a new diverging diamond interchange. From April 14 to 18, both SR 18 and I-90 will experience lane reductions during the night, with flaggers and police managing traffic flow. Specific lane closures on I-90 include double and single lane restrictions, impacting eastbound traffic. Additionally, a temporary traffic signal will be installed at Southeast 104th Street to facilitate access to SR 18.

This signal will be operational by early Tuesday, April 15, and will remain in place for the duration of the construction. Motorists are urged to expect delays, adhere to a reduced speed limit of 30 mph, and stay alert for changing traffic conditions. WSDOT advises drivers to check their website or app for real-time updates on the project.
