This comprehensive training program consists of five Saturday sessions held at the Snoqualmie Fire Station, providing hands-on experience in disaster preparedness, fire suppression, and medical operations. For a nominal fee of $35, participants receive a CERT kit that includes crucial tools and a student manual, with the fee being fully refundable if all classes are completed. Registration is open to residents aged 18 and over, with spots filling quickly on a first-come, first-served basis. The course covers a range of topics, including light search and rescue operations, disaster psychology, and the Incident Command System.
