City Academy Relaunches this October Go Behind the Scenes to Learn about City Operations

Snoqualmie, WALocal News

The City of Snoqualmie relaunches its City Academy, a free six-week program designed to educate residents about local government operations. Kicking off on October 1, 2025, the academy will feature sessions from various city departments, such as public works and the police. Mayor Katherine Ross noted that the program aims to strengthen connections between residents and their local government by fostering understanding and involvement. Participants will learn about the city's structure, budget, and strategic goals through interactive discussions and facility tours. The program is open to Snoqualmie residents aged 18 and older and will be limited to 15 participants to ensure a personal experience.

Sessions will be held on Wednesday evenings, with one Saturday morning session scheduled. Interested residents should register early, as high demand may lead to an additional session in Spring 2026. Online registration is available through the City of Snoqualmie's official website.
