Eastbound SR 18 Lane Closure Near Raging River Bridge on Nov. 25

Eastbound State Route 18 will close one lane from 9 a. m. to 7 p. m. on November 25 for maintenance on the transition to the Raging River bridge.

Contractor crews for the Washington State Department of Transportation will first smooth the right lane and then shift traffic to complete the left lane. Motorists should expect delays and follow posted instructions through the work zone. Additional lane reductions will occur daily until mid-December, with right lane closures from 9 a. m. to 7 p.

m. on weekdays and shorter hours on weekends. The slope work will pause on November 25 and over the Thanksgiving weekend. The ongoing I-90/SR 18 Interchange Improvements project, expected to finish in 2026, aims to enhance traffic flow and safety in the area. Crews will install a top layer of asphalt and permanent striping in the spring once weather conditions improve.
