City Academy Relaunches this October Go Behind the Scenes to Learn about City Operations

The City of Snoqualmie will relaunch its City Academy on Oct. 1, 2025, allowing residents to gain insights into local government operations through a free, six-week program. Each week, a different city department will host a session, providing the opportunity for direct engagement with city leaders. Mayor Katherine Ross highlighted the program's role in enhancing community involvement and understanding of local challenges. Participants will learn about the city's structure, budget, and strategic goals through interactive discussions and facility tours.

The program is open to residents aged 18 and older, with a cap of 15 participants to ensure an intimate learning environment. Sessions will be held on Wednesday evenings and one Saturday morning, concluding on Nov. 5, 2025. Interested residents should register early to secure a spot, as high demand may lead to an additional session in Spring 2026. Registration is available online via the city’s official website.
