Nosferatu The Film That Wouldnt Die Halloween Show with Live Original Music by Danny Kolke

Snoqualmie, WALocal News

North Bend Theatre will screen the legendary silent horror film Nosferatu on Halloween, marking a rare opportunity to witness a film that narrowly escaped destruction. In 1925, a German court ruled in favor of Bram Stoker's widow, Florence Stoker, ordering the film's destruction for copyright infringement. However, a few prints survived, allowing this cinematic masterpiece to haunt audiences today. Theatre owner Beth Burrows highlighted the event's importance, calling it a testament to the resilience of art. Acclaimed musician Danny Kolke will perform an original score, enhancing the film's eerie ambiance.

The screening will take place at 7 PM in the historic 1941 auditorium, featuring a vintage atmosphere with candlelight. This unique Halloween experience promises to captivate attendees and evoke chills. Tickets are available for purchase at the North Bend Theatre's website.
