City Academy Relaunches this October Go Behind the Scenes to Learn about City Operations

The City of Snoqualmie relaunches its City Academy, a free program aimed at educating residents about local government operations. This six-week in-person program allows participants to engage with various city departments, including public works and emergency management. Mayor Katherine Ross highlights the program's role in fostering community involvement and transparency regarding tax dollar usage. The curriculum features interactive sessions, city facility tours, and discussions on critical topics. Open to residents aged 18 and older, the academy runs from October 1 to November 5, 2025, primarily on Wednesday evenings.

A Saturday morning session is also planned, emphasizing a comprehensive learning experience. With participation capped at 15 residents, early registration is encouraged to secure a spot. High interest may lead to an additional session in Spring 2026.
