City of Duvall Announces Completion of Two New Community Murals with Two More to Come in 2026

Snoqualmie, WALocal News

The City of Duvall has celebrated the completion of two new public murals that enhance community pride and creativity. The first mural, “Greetings from Duvall,” designed by Brenda Choi, creatively integrates community handprints into the letter “O” of the word “Home. ” The second mural, “Birds of the Snoqualmie Valley,” crafted by Cedarcrest High School artist Alex Kimbrel, features hidden characters among native birds. City Administrator Cynthia McNabb emphasized the murals' role in fostering community engagement and showcasing local talent. The City thanked the Duvall Cultural Commission and City Council for their support of public art initiatives that strengthen community bonds.

Duvall plans to release new Calls for Artists, focusing on themes of local flora and the night sky. These initiatives aim to further enrich the community’s artistic landscape. Residents are encouraged to visit the murals and participate in upcoming projects.
