City Academy Relaunches this October Go Behind the Scenes to Learn about City Operations

Snoqualmie, WALocal News

The City of Snoqualmie relaunches its City Academy this fall, offering a free six-week program that provides residents with insights into local government operations. The program runs from October 1 to November 5, 2025, featuring weekly sessions led by different city departments, including public works, police, and fire services. Mayor Katherine Ross highlighted the initiative's role in fostering community connections and understanding the challenges local government faces. Each session will cover various topics such as budgeting, land use, and emergency management, allowing participants to ask questions and engage with city leaders. The program is open to residents aged 18 and older and is capped at 15 participants, encouraging early registration.

If interest is high, a second session may be offered in Spring 2026. Interested residents can register online at the City of Snoqualmie's official website. This initiative aims to build a more informed and involved community.
