North Bend Sidewalk Project Improves Safety Near Dahlgren Park

Snoqualmie, WALocal News

Crews from Fury SiteWorks are addressing a sidewalk gap along SE North Bend Way, linking Dahlgren Family Park and the Snoqualmie Valley Trail. This initiative is one of four sidewalk gap removals scheduled for completion this fall to improve pedestrian safety. Temporary lane closures will occur as construction progresses, which the city recognizes may cause short-term inconveniences. However, officials assert the long-term benefits will enhance safety and accessibility for residents. Project Engineer Mike Mayen is available for questions via email.

The city encourages residents to subscribe to the Notify Me service for ongoing updates. The completed sidewalk will provide a crucial connection to existing pathways in the area. These improvements reflect the city's commitment to fostering safer and more accessible walking routes for the community.
