Updated Collision Closes Both Directions of SR 18 at I-90 in Snoqualmie Sept. 29

Snoqualmie, WALocal News

A collision on Monday afternoon caused significant disruptions on State Route 18 at Interstate 90 in Snoqualmie. Both eastbound and westbound lanes closed between milepost 28 and milepost 20, effectively blocking traffic at milepost 27. As of 7:25 PM, all lanes have reopened following the incident. However, earlier updates provided no estimated time for reopening. Commuters should plan their travel with caution and consider alternate routes, as Issaquah-Hobart Road is not suitable for freight traffic.

This closure emphasizes the need for reliable transportation routes in the region, especially for commercial vehicles. The Washington State Department of Transportation continues to monitor traffic conditions and provide updates as necessary. Local authorities encourage drivers to stay informed about road conditions to avoid delays.
