City Academy Relaunches this October Go Behind the Scenes to Learn about City Operations

The City of Snoqualmie is relaunching its City Academy this fall to help residents learn about local government operations. The six-week program, running from October 1 to November 5, 2025, will feature sessions hosted by various city departments. Mayor Katherine Ross emphasized the program's role in fostering community engagement and understanding of local challenges. Participants can expect to gain insights into the city's structure, budget, and strategic goals through interactive sessions and facility tours. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including land use, planning, and emergency management.

The program welcomes residents aged 18 and older, with a maximum of 15 participants. Early registration is recommended as another session may be organized for Spring 2026 if interest is high. Those interested can register online through the City of Snoqualmie's official website.
