City Academy Relaunches this October Go Behind the Scenes to Learn about City Operations

Snoqualmie, WALocal News

The City of Snoqualmie relaunches its City Academy this fall, offering a free six-week program to educate residents about local government operations. Each week highlights a different department, allowing participants to engage with city leaders and ask questions. Mayor Katherine Ross states, "A more informed community is a more involved community," underscoring the program's importance in fostering civic engagement. The curriculum includes interactive sessions and tours, covering topics like land use and emergency management. The academy is open to residents aged 18 and older, with a maximum of 15 participants.

Sessions occur on Wednesday evenings from October 1 to November 5, 2025, with one Saturday session. Interested residents are encouraged to register early, as high demand may prompt another session in Spring 2026. Online registration is available on the city’s website.
