Lane Restrictions Coming to SE Issaquah Fall City Road for Chip Seal Work

Snoqualmie, WALocal News

King County Road Services will begin lane restrictions on SE Issaquah Fall City Road starting September 2, 2025, for a multi-day chip seal project. The work will cover areas between SE Duthie Hill Road and 329th Avenue SE, including sections of SE Issaquah Fall City Road and 328th Way SE. Drivers should anticipate delays of up to 20 minutes, with a pilot car guiding traffic through the work zone. Officials stress the importance of driving slowly to keep gravel on the ground and protect infrastructure. While chip seal is less durable than asphalt overlay, it is a cost-effective solution for maintaining neighborhood roads.

The project schedule may change due to weather or resource availability, and Saturday work is likely. Residents can sign up for Road Alerts to receive updates and check the MyCommute Map for current projects. King County appreciates community patience during the maintenance work.
