The Friends of the North Bend Theatre will give away 100 vintage Ballantine books, featuring artwork by renowned artists Neal Adams and Boris Vallejo. These editions represent a significant piece of pulp fiction history. Attendees can enjoy themed "Jungle Juice" mimosas alongside non-alcoholic beverages, enhancing the nostalgic atmosphere.

Burroughs' characters, particularly Tarzan, continue to influence modern storytelling and are considered precursors to contemporary superheroes.
