Roberts to Step Down as Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank Seeks New Leader

Alison Roberts will resign as Executive Director of the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank, effective September 5, 2025, after joining the organization in March 2024. Her leadership has been pivotal in stabilizing operations and raising community awareness, leading to record levels of volunteer and donor engagement. These achievements have positioned the food bank favorably as it plans to construct a new facility in North Bend. Board Chair Terry Pottmeyer commended Roberts for her significant contributions and dedication to fostering a community without hunger. The board intends to appoint an Interim Executive Director in the coming weeks while searching for a permanent successor.

Roberts expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to serve and her confidence in the food bank's strong foundation of community support. She emphasized the importance of the dedicated board in continuing the momentum of their Capital Campaign. The food bank serves individuals and families across North Bend and Snoqualmie, striving to provide resources with dignity and compassion.
