Explore the Past, Ride the Rails Northwest Railway Museum Offers Summer Experiences for All Ages

The Northwest Railway Museum in Snoqualmie provides summer experiences, including tours and scenic train rides every Saturday at 9:00 AM. Guests aged 13 and older can participate in a three-hour tour that includes visits to historical railway artifacts and a round-trip train ride through the beautiful Upper Snoqualmie Valley. The Train Shed Exhibit Hall, open Wednesday through Monday, offers interactive exhibits and activities for visitors of all ages. Families can enjoy free Story Time sessions at the Snoqualmie Depot, with the next session themed "Journeys" scheduled for August 6. The museum will also engage in the Snoqualmie Days festival on August 22 and 23, featuring a parade, vendor booths, and more family activities throughout the weekend.

Tickets for the Railway History Campus tour cost $32 per person, and closed-toe shoes are required for participants. This summer, the museum serves as a vibrant local attraction, celebrating the region's railway heritage. The diverse programming caters to both history enthusiasts and families seeking memorable outings.
