Community Survey Results Residents Praise Overall Quality of Life in Snoqualmie

The City of Snoqualmie's recent community survey reveals that residents largely praise their quality of life, security, and access to nature. Conducted by Polco, Inc. , the survey targeted 3,000 households, achieving a participation rate that provides a 95% confidence interval with a +/- 5% margin of error. Findings show that while residents feel secure and enjoy recreational amenities, there are significant areas for improvement, particularly in the economy and transportation. Compared to 500+ communities nationwide, Snoqualmie received 40 higher ratings, 78 similar ratings, and 5 lower ratings.

Additionally, when benchmarked against neighboring cities, it garnered 47 higher ratings and 4 lower ratings. Mayor Katherine Ross stated that the city is committed to addressing areas of concern while maintaining high living standards. The survey results will inform the city's strategic plan, ensuring alignment with community priorities. The survey also highlighted trending issues like traffic signal timing and snow removal, which saw notable improvements.
