Snoqualmie, WALocal News

The Snoqualmie Firefighters Association is set to host its annual Pancake Breakfast fundraiser on Saturday, August 23, from 7 to 11 a. m. at the Snoqualmie Fire Station. Breakfast will include pancakes, ham, Krispy Kreme donuts, and beverages, costing $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 6-12, while kids under 5 enjoy free meals. Proceeds will support the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank’s capital campaign for a new facility, reflecting the firefighters’ commitment to community service.

The event will feature zero-waste operations, utilizing recyclable and compostable items through a partnership with Waste Management. Attendees can enter a $2 raffle and bid in a silent auction with prizes like golf outings and overnight stays. The Snoqualmie Firefighters Association also uses fundraising to support various community initiatives, including public safety education and scholarships. This event not only fosters community spirit but also aids local charitable organizations. Families will have the chance to meet firefighters and take photos with emergency vehicles, enhancing the community engagement aspect of the event.
