Lane Closures on Westbound I-90 Near North Bend July 2425 for Road Repairs

The Washington State Department of Transportation will implement lane closures on westbound Interstate 90 near North Bend on July 24-25 for critical road surface repairs. The right two lanes will close from 8 a. m. to 3:30 p. m.

each day, limiting traffic to one open lane and causing expected delays. In addition to these closures, access to westbound SR 18 will be restricted until 5 a. m. on July 25 as contractor crews transition traffic to a new diverging diamond pattern. A signed detour will guide motorists around the closure of SR 18 under the I-90 bridges.

This maintenance is part of ongoing efforts to enhance road safety and infrastructure quality in the region. The work zone's impact on local traffic underscores the importance of planning travel routes accordingly. WSDOT encourages travelers to utilize their mobile app and real-time travel map for updates.
