From Porch Lights to Park Gatherings Snoqualmie Celebrates National Night Out August 5

National Night Out will take place on August 5 at Snoqualmie Community Park from 5 to 7 p. m. , inviting residents to celebrate community and connection. This annual event, which began in 1984, has evolved into a nationwide tradition promoting public safety and neighborhood camaraderie. Attendees will have the chance to meet officers from the Snoqualmie Police Department, the Snoqualmie Fire Department, and representatives from the FBI and Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Activities include free face painting, mural coloring, and the “Chalk the Block” sidewalk art initiative. Local favorites will serve complimentary ice cream and hot dogs, enhancing the festive atmosphere. Organizers aim to reinforce positive relationships between neighbors and law enforcement. The event highlights the importance of community connections in fostering safety and unity. Residents from Snoqualmie and North Bend are encouraged to join the celebration.
